Trailering for the Emergency Responder

 

Many Departments now a days have several trailers in their inventory of equipment for response, whether it is for towing ones UTV / ATV or for DECON or HAZMAT operations, or a Mobile Incident Command Post, but they are all trailers.

   

    Have you been trained in how to properly tow a trailer??


                The time to learn is not during a response, but long before one.


                            Do your SOP’s or SOG’s reflect good safe practices when it comes to towing a trailer??

Prerequisites: Be a member of an official department or agency

                       Have completed a CEVO or EVOC course prior
