Our Staff
Tom Ashmore, CEO, President and founder of Tom Ashmore Enterprises. A US Marine Veteran, and three time Purple Heart Recipient. Tom brings real life situations into his training courses. Believing that training in a realistic environment under realistic conditions is the only way to prepare someone to handle these various situations gives Tom’s courses the edge. After Tom got out of the Marine Corp, he became a Police Officer and Fire Fighter in the local towns for which he lived. Tom continues to take courses to keep his knowledge cutting edge, Tom is a member of NASAR and a SARTech II. Tom has been an EMT since 1984; Tom has been awarded by the Governor of CT the Silver Life Saving Medal for his valiant work as a Police Officer.
Randy T. Ashmore, Director of Training and Operations, just recently retired from the US Coast Guard. Randy’s 20+ years in the service has afforded him numerous opportunities to respond to a wide variety of disasters. Randy spent nearly a decade conducting international operations training host nations in Search & Rescue, and Law Enforcement. The other half of his career he spent on the National Strike Force as a Response Supervisor responding and working with everything from Floods, to Anthrax and Ricin. Randy was chosen to be the first CBRNE Chief on a special team, and has completed over 300 deployments in over a dozen countries throughout his career. He just recently became a Certified Environmental Trainer with specialties in Occupational Safety and Health and Emergency Response. Before Randy went into the service, he founded a junior division of Fire Fighters for his Eagle Scout project, this way he was able to become an EMT at the age of seventeen, and has been involved in the Response community ever since.
Dawn Bennett Office Manager -- One of our most important assets is Dawn. She brings unparalleled skill and organization to the team, keeping both Tom and Randy on track and ensuring all things run smooth.
